Option 1 Option 2 I recommend the dedicated server option. You basically get control over everything. With the shared host, I'm limited in the technology I can use. We've had problems with shared hosts at work. Obviously for the time being, I can host it on my home PC like I host this forum. But there will come a time when we need to get a real hosting solution. There is a 3rd options I am currently investigating.

Option 3 This is basically a dedicated server, but instead of having 1 physical computer dedicated to us, we would have a "virtual" server dedicated to us. We would share a physical computer with "x" number of other people. This would be good to get us started, but ultimately we would need a dedicated server if we started to get a relatively high amount of traffic.
