Note to self: display a list (somewhere) of subscriptions a user currently has.
Edit: this is done. Go to "User Area" >> "Subscriptions" to view that topics you are subscribed to.

I added the feature that automatically subscribes you to the topic if you are the author. If this gets annoying you can unsubscribe like I mentioned in the previous post. If a lot of people find it annoying, I'll revert it to the original functionality.
