Airport shuttles are awesome if you are staying in the south end of the strip. Although if you are traveling to middle or north sections it gets annoying because they make a ton of different stops because there are like 50 people on the bus and if they aren't all staying in the same place it could take forever to get where you actually want to go. There's always a ton of them just sitting there at the airport so you have your choice of cab, shuttle, limo, or town car depending on how much you feel like paying. I wouldn't book in advance though, I don't think it's worth the effort.
