Justin, short of you telling me 'Google it!', what exactly is an ISP? Is it your computer or connection? Can you see ISPs when users log in here? And with so many hotels, houses, businesses, etc., will we ever run out of ISPs or is something like the Internet 2 (not various upgrades but more of a second technological platform) ever going to come out?
PS ~ sorry that this doesn't have anything to do w/ WVU or the GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS thread... very unlike me.

An ISP is an Internet Service Provider. What you probably mean is IP which stands for Internet Protocol. I posted about this before. Here is the thread: http://www.manvolve.com/the-internet-is-running-out-of-ip-addresses-ipv4-t/822
Your IP address is the address of your network connection. Pretty much analogous to your home street address. Your home internet service has a public IP address assigned by your ISP. If you have a router, you computer is assigned a local IP address. When you access the Internet from your home, all computers on your home network have the same public IP address but different local IP addresses.
