In the coming days, Jovan Belcher's actions and their possible connection to football will be analyzed. Who knows? But here, wrote Jason Whitlock, is what I believe. If Jovan Belcher didn't possess a gun, he and Kasandra Perkins (Belcher's girlfriend) would both be alive today.
There would be a lot of other people that would be alive today if they never owned a car.

I'm cool with gun screening (creating some sort of crazy test), but I'm not someone who thinks we should ban guns altogether.
