They use a lot of financial institution level security. You would be a fool to think that it is impossible for someone to get at that data, but trusting them is a calculated risk. Mint.com is run by Intuit, the makers of Quickbooks, which does basically the same thing. Mint.com is a free service, but rest assured, they are making money by running analytics on your data. Also, I use Mint.com.
