I Love Star Wars, but this is overkill. I just want the sequels and none of the one off movies...they'll still get my money, the bastards.


Last week on Parks and Rec Patten Oswalt's character had to filibuster and they asked him to improv. He ranted about the new Star Wars movie and this is what he came up with.



I don't think all of it made it into the show, but it blew up online...I'd see that movie...

Quick recap of the last 13 months...

Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3, Little Miss Sunshine) was hired to write the script. In October it was announced that JJ Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan (Co-writer of Empire Strikes back & Return of the Jedi who was raised in Wheeling) were rewriting Arndt's script. Rumor has it that Arndt's script focused too much on the new generation of Star Wars Heroes and Abrams wanted one last hurrah for the original trilogy heroes before it transitions to a young man's galaxy...lately it has been rumored that Han Solo will have a very large part in this movie which gets me very excited.

Not sure if I like the title, but I'm the guy who's had fantasy teams named the "Chicken Noodle Dicks" and "The Salty Jazz" so what the hell do I know...At least it lines up grammatically with the first installments of the other trilogies (A New Hope & The Phantom Menace)

Filming started TODAY at Pinewood Studios in England where they filmed the other VI movies.





They're still planning on making several one off movies based on individual characters (like the X-men Origins). I still think it might be a little bit overkill
